Make short day trips using our wildlife camp as your base camp

All you need at base camp. Put up your tent or rent one of our cabins, and let your children explore wildlife in safe environments. Choose one of our BASIC, PLUS+ or PREMIUM packages and explore the secrets of the Sorka river. You may meet both hurdles of reindeers and the beaver family when paddling or fishing at the river side. Femund Canoe Camp offers a lot to explore! We have a children’s play ground, grillhouse, table tennis, sauna and lots of facilities. Also, we know what and where to visit in the area. Let us advise you on bike trips, day hikes to the closest mountains, how to take the local liner Fæmund II, or visits to the cultural hotspot Røros, and of course, where to catch which type of fish.
